NanoChem^TM Nano Silicate Platelets (NSP) and Nano Silicate Quarts (NSQ) are produced form natural clay. By using our novel one-step process (US Patented), these materials are synthesized by exfoliating the layered silicates into randomized platelets in water. With high surface area and charges, these platelets adsorb gases and metal ions and trap organic matters effectively; hence, NSP and NSQ can be applied in many fields including deodorizing, water treatment, etc.

       In addition, they can be applied to epoxy and other types of polymer materials. When the polymers are compounded with NSP or NSQ, the mechanical strength, hardness, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, gas-barrier, and water-resistant properties are effectively improved. With good dispersing property, they can also be used as a dispersant in electrical packaging material or other nano-materials.
